    Stock & Sales Assistant at Lush

    Multiple 16-hour temporary contracts are up for grabs at Lush based in the Trafford Centre.The job ad says that the successful candidate will “aid in creating a beautiful clean and well displayed store at all times” as well as “providing customers with 5 star till experiences.”Those wanting to apply will need to be available to work Monday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from anytime between 8am and 11pm.

    Christmas Customer Advisor at Boots

    Also over at the Trafford Centre, Boots are looking for Customer Advisor’s to help them through the busy festive period. There are various full-time and part-time roles available ranging from less than 16 hours per week up to over 35 hours per week.

    The successful recruits will join Boots at what it describes as its “most exciting time of the year” where “often no two days are the same”.They will need to have various traits including excellent communication, listening and organisation skills as well as be able to work as part of team. Boots also say they need someone who has “a positive, caring attitude” and who will “be a brand ambassador for Boots.”

    Christmas Casuals for the Royal Mail

    As you can imagine, the Royal Mail is one of the busiest places over the Christmas period and every year, and not unexpectedly, the postal service is the hub of a lot of activity as everyone rushes to get Christmas cards and parcels delivered before the big deadline.

    In order to successfully keep up with demand, the company hire a number of casual workers to work in its Warrington Mail Centre.The advertisement says: “Just like Mr & Mrs Claus, you will help to deliver Christmas to everybody in the UK! Flexible and adaptable at all times, you will be doing a very important job.

    “You’ll be helping us unload mail and parcels from our vans, moving them around our arehouses and then sorting them so they arrive at their destination safely – sometimes sorting over a million items in a single shift with your team.”The pay rates are listed range from £9.50 an hour for day shifts up to £11.21 for night shifts.

    Waitresses, Bartenders & Bar-backs

    Eden, Manchester city centre’s newest super club, is in need of extra people for over Christmas.

    The bar, which is located in The Printworks, is looking for “enthusiastic, energetic and positive individuals” to join the team for the busy period.Sales Assistant at Sports Direct,Earn up to £8.25 an hour with a temporary role at Sports Direct based in the Manchester Arndale centre or in Market Street.

    Bartender

    The Gas Lamp in Bridge Street is looking for a part time Christmas Temp Bartender.The position is for weekends and evenings based on two shifts a week.The job ad says that the role will include general bar work such as pouring pints, making cocktails, bar backing, clearing tables and cleaning down the venue at the end of the night.It also mentions that a good knowledge of Craft Beer, gin or whiskey is preffered.

    Sales Associate at Vans

    Sports footwear company Vans is in need of Sales Associates to help out at its Trafford Centre store.The job advertisement says: “We strive to create a fun and supportive team environment where every member plays their part in creating a great customer experience.”And whether you are working part time or thinking a career in retail, we expect that our sales associates deliver exceptional customer service and contribute to the store’s success.”Both full time and part time positions are available and you can apply up until November 21 at 10pm here.
